Put the pressure from 3-5. We made the pens to work right at pressure 3 so that we get the best flow (too much pressure can cause the ball, that rolls the ink, to not roll well). I have watched videos and I have it inserted into the machine correctly, but my pens don't reach down far enough to write on the paper, unless I am putting manual pressure on it.
